Forget M&Ms- These are so COOL!

I've known about these for some time and thought I would share... In today's contemporary world, m&ms are a favor of the past.  Don't get me wrong... everyone loves m&ms but if you want something new, hip, and fun, you have to check out the dragees at The Cocoa Room.  Not only are they available in just about any color combination you can dream of, you can even get metals, textures, and different shapes and sizes.  Don't know what dragees are?  Like m&ms, they are candy-coated chocolates available over nuts such as sunflower seeds, almonds, etc...  Think Jordan Almonds only much more trendy. How cool would these look in one of our favor tubes tied up with a matching ribbon and favor tag? Very!

Our new site is almost ready!

Here it is almost midnight of Easter Eve, trying to make sure everything is in place for The Favor Maker's Grand Re-opening.  Our storefront has a new look, we've re-done all of our personalization forms, and we've developed some customer-friendly pages to help navigate through the ordering and personalization process. When the store re-opens, you'll be able to shop by occasion, as well as by product, and we'll have links to the blog for help with wording and nutrition facts.  We have some great plans but are running into some snags which may push the re-opening back a week.  Having close to 1,000 products (not to mention unlimited custom options), it isn't easy to re-categorize, let alone link them to multiple categories and add search terms so that they can all be found easily.  Thank you everyone for waiting so patiently for this to happen.  I promise... it won't be long! :o) 

The Favor Maker joins the world of weblogs!

I guess it's about time that we joined the technology-savvy and entered the world of blogging.  I tossed the idea around for a few months before finally making the decision that this was the way to go.  Often when talking with customers on the phone, we'll end up chatting about the latest in party trends, and even sharing stories about our own parties.  What better way to share fun stories, photos, and ideas with customers than to start a blog!  I hope you all will join me on this adventure by sending us photos and stories about your events, as well as posting and commenting on others.  I think you'll be amazed at what a community we can build if we try.  Here's to our first post!
